A spinning mill in Uşak's Karahallı district burned down. While material damage occurred in the fire, which was determined to be out of the electrical contact, no one was killed or injured.

Around 13:00, a fire broke out from the electrical contact on the machines in the spinning mill in the Karahallı Küçük Sanayi Sitesi of a citizen named Ramazan Gültekin. First response was done by the workers. Then, Karahallı Municipal Fire Department intervened with two sprinklers. The flames that grew in a short time engulfed the factory.

• Thereupon, six teams came from Çivril, Çal, Bekilli, Sivaslı and Karbasan municipalities as reinforcements.
• In the fire, which is taken under control at around 15:00, cooling works continue. The ropes in the warehouse were emptied by workers and other citizens.

According to preliminary determinations, it was stated that material damage of 750 thousand lira occurred. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
